Lone Star Ice Cream, LLC. offers full-service ice cream and snack vending through new, state of the art, Branded Merchandisers.  Our company has developed strategic partnerships with Nestle Ice Cream and Mini Melts to provide Branded Vending Machines throughout the State of Texas.  Our sole focus is to provide the best equipment, the best products to our customers, and support our machine placements with a very high level of service.  As you can see by the pictures on the brochure, the machines are extremely attractive.  The machines use advanced robotic vacuum technology to vend the ice cream.  Not only is the consumer able to purchase a treat, but he or she is able to watch an entertaining show as well.

Lone Star Ice Cream, LLC. has teamed up with Nestle Ice Cream and Mini

Melts to bring strong national ice cream brands conveniently to the

consumer.  Our ice cream machines have the capability of vending up to 13

selections.  Both kids and adults get excited about the ease of purchasing one of their favorite ice cream treats from these new machines.  The machines have a window for the consumer to actually watch the robot retrieve his or her ice cream.  Between the thrill of watching an ice cream product being dispensed from a robotic vacuum, to being able to choose between so many wonderful pieces of ice cream, we think that our machines would make a great addition to your schools.

In July 2003, the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) became the administering agency of the federal child nutrition programs, which provide funding and nutritional guidelines to Texas public schools.  On March 3, 2004, the TDA issued the Texas Public School Nutrition Policy, which supplements the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s existing Federal Nutrition Policy for Public Schools.

Lone Star Ice Cream is extremely supportive of any effort to improve the nutritious offerings in public schools.  We have always been 100% compliant with the USDA regulations and have never sold any Foods of Minimal Nutritional Value in schools.  The new regulations impose stricter standards, however these standards are attainable.

Our Program

Lone Star Ice Cream, LLC. will provide, at no cost to your establishment, new state-of-the-art vending machines for use in the appropriate venues  We will stock all machines on an as-needed basis to insure a constant supply of product for your consumers.  You will never actually take possession of any of the product.  All costs associated with pilferage, service and maintenance will be borne by Lone Star Ice Cream, LLC.  At the end of each month we will provide a recap of the sales activity along with a commission check.  It is important to note that you do not have to implement both machines to do business with us.  If you are only interested in one machine, Lone Star Ice Cream will be able to accommodate your needs.

Our Technology

As our company has taken advantage of the best merchandising

equipment, we have also invested in technology that makes our

program 100% auditable for our customers.   Our route drivers

use hand-held computers to perform a digital exchange each time

a machine is serviced.  From this information, we pay our commissions

on actual sales, we determine the proper product mix for each

machine, and we can keep track of any machine malfunction.

In addition to our hand-held technology, we are also working with

wireless technology that connects all of our machines to a wireless

network, enabling us to communicate with our machines at any hour

of the day.  With this technology, we immediately know when a

machine has a problem, we always know what a machine’s inventory

level is, and our machines will be able to accept other forms of

payment including credit cards.  This technology ensures that our

customers get the best possible customer service and the end consumer

always gets the ice cream he or she wants.  Our entire Austin, Texas

Branch is currently wireless, with the goal of going statewide in the

near future.

OUR PROGRAM WORKS LIKE THIS:

We provide the machine(s) for free.

Our route drivers deliver the ice cream to the machine(s).

We provide customized stocking and product rotation on an as needed basis.

We are responsible for the product in the machine(s).  In the event of a power loss, you lose nothing.

We handle all maintenance associated with the machine(s).  This includes handling all service calls with our own technicians.

We will be responsible for all money handling procedures.  Our drivers carry hand-held computers which allows for complete audit capability.  We can track every penny that goes through the machine.
